A photo & video studio working from Coffs Harbour on the Mid North Coast of NSW. Founded around the idea that the best work is made at the slower end of the year — and patient enough for the people in front of the lens.

A slow, deliberate way of looking.
We grew up between bushland and saltwater. The work is shaped by both — patient, a little weathered, and always rooted in place. Each project starts with a conversation, not a shot list.
We deliver a small, considered set of frames over an overwhelming dump. Heirloom prints, archival storage, and digital files designed to be looked at a decade from now.

Solid Road is a husband-and-wife led photo & video studio working from a converted shopfront in Coffs Harbour. Between us — fifteen years behind the camera, three trusted second shooters, and a tight network of editors and colourists.
We shoot what we’d want to be photographed: honest, soft, edited generously and delivered in a form that lasts.

A short visual brief and shot map so we’re both clear on what ‘good’ looks like before the shoot.

Quietly, on the day.
Documentary leaning. Soft direction when needed. Mostly we get out of the way.

Hand-edited frames, online private gallery, archival storage and optional fine-art prints.
